Deep Yellow Roots
“While the world spun it’s web all day ,
the dandelions worked together
for a brighter today
as they grew they’re roots,
flowers began to
sing silly tunes. The light to guide
those lost
along they’re way until one day,
evil spawned it’s word to
spray Such illuminated Flowers
into a doubtful glaze.
And though, they were deemed
a common yellow pesk upon
the lawn. They in fact
were beyond the cure towards
tomorrow’s dawn . For without a
dandelion you have no ground to
stand , the curious , the wise
, the bold , become the scientist,
the artist, the masters
to end such crimes Sold
upon the land.
For whatever poison
they may spray, our roots
have run too deep to ever fade away.”
